Mermaid pop star Lagoona Bloo is one of the most iconic pop acts to emerge from NYC this decade. With essential ear-candy hooks and a soaring three octave range, her blissed-out synth anthems are redefining the intersection between pop and drag.
In 2021, Lagoona made a splash in the music scene when she wrote and released her first two singles, "Greedy With My Love" (which has accrued over 466,000 streams on Spotify) and “Hands,” along with her debut EP AQUA. In 2022 she released two 90’S inspired dance singles "C U Tonight", and "Sticky Sweet" (with RuPaul's Drag Race alum, Lemon). Her most recent singles include the vibey “Say It To the Sky” and wistful ballad “Still Around.”
Lagoona most recently opened for RuPaul’s Drag Race legend Alaska on her 34-city Red 4 Filth tour. Lagoona also performed on NBC's The Voice (alongside Jessie J) and competed on America's Got Talent.
Lagoona also appears on the soundtrack forDrag: The Musical, singing the character of Tuna Turner. After originating the Tuna Turner role in the June 2022 Los Angeles workshop of the musical, Lagoona reprised the role in the full run of the show in Los Angeles at the Bourbon Room in the fall of 2022.
