The Forestburgh Playhouse Academy offers arts education programs that are designed to enrich and provide the highest level of artistic growth to students with a passion for the performing arts. With the mentorship of NYC based, working theatre professionals, a supportive and safe environment and unique programming that is linked to the professional, Forestburgh Playhouse stage, the artistic possibilities for Academy students are endless! This Season’s Academy Performances Are…
Are you ready for an Alice in Wonderland like you’ve never seen before? Our Musical Theatre Ensemble Experience will conclude in Alice: A Wonderland Experience—a fractured fairy tale where every character rocks a different genre of music! From pop to jazz to rock, you’ll explore it all.

Pippin is a thrilling and upbeat musical that follows Pippin, a young prince on a journey to find his purpose in life. Caught between adventure, love, and war, he seeks meaning and excitement, all while being guided by the mysterious Leading Player. As Pippin explores his options, he learns that the real magic isn’t in epic quests, but in embracing the ordinary moments of life.

Our beloved one-week program is back—brighter and bolder! Designed for Young Artists aged 8-12 who love to sing, dance, and perform, this immersive musical theatre intensive provides one-on-one mentoring from teaching artists across the country. The week culminates in an exciting original fractured fairy tale production for family and friends to enjoy. This program will culminate with a performance of Alice: A Wonderland Experience.
