What will the Playhouse and Tavern do to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patrons?

While we are not requiring proof of vaccination or masking at The Playhouse at this time, we honor and respect all audience members who choose to wear a mask for their own safety and encourage all unmasked patrons to be respectful when interacting with staff and volunteers who will be masked for union and health regulations. We reserve the right to update this policy, should the need arise.

The Playhouse will provide hand sanitizer in various locations on the property and will have masks available for patrons, should they wish to utilize them.

PRIVACY POLICY

We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy.  We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site.  We also may automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visited.  Such information may be used for record keeping purposes only.  We will not sell or disseminate your personally identifiable information to anyone.  Please contact us at 845-794-2005 or info@fbplayhouse.org if you have any questions or concerns.

By purchasing a ticket, patrons grant and authorize the Forestburgh Playhouse and Awestruck, LLC the right to edit, alter, copy, and make use of all photos and/or videos taken of patrons attending events at the Forestburgh Playhouse to be used in and/or for promotional materials for the Forestburgh Playhouse.

 

SECURITY POLICY

Your payment and personal information is always safe.  Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions.  It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.  Please contact us at 845-794-2005 or info@fbplayhouse.org if you have any questions or concerns.

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By purchasing tickets from the Forestburgh Playhouse, Patron agrees to abide by any and all safety guidelines and protocols promulgated by the Forestburgh Playhouse. These safety guidelines and protocols will be posted on the Playhouse website and emailed to patrons prior to the scheduled events. Purchased tickets are non-refundable.

TICKET EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS

No refunds are permitted at the Forestburgh Playhouse. If you are unable to use your tickets, you may transfer them to a friend or you may choose to return them to the Forestburgh Playhouse to be re-sold; this return will be considered a tax-deductible donation, provided it is made more than 1 hour prior to curtain.

Subject to availability, tickets may be exchanged up to 48 hours in advance by calling the Box Office; after that time there are no exchanges allowed. A $3/ticket exchange fee would apply for all except subscribers. Tickets may be exchanged for another performance of the purchased production only; no show-to-show exchanges allowed.  This policy was implemented on July 20, 2017.

GIFT CERTIFICATES

Plan ahead! Please inform the recipient of a Forestburgh Playhouse Gift Certificate not to wait until the last minute to redeem their Gift Certificate.  Each Gift Certificate has a clearly marked expiration date at the bottom of the Gift Certificate. Gift Certificates cannot be redeemed after the expiration date.  In addition, seating is subject to availability and not guaranteed until the order is placed. If a particular performance is sold out, Gift Certificate redeemers must choose a different performance.  Some shows may be very popular and sell out in advance. Gift Certificate redeemers cannot be accommodated if a performance is sold out. No refunds for Gift Certificates are permitted at the Forestburgh Playhouse. If you are unable to use your Gift Certificate, you may transfer it to a friend—your friend must present the Gift Certificate at the Box Office in order to redeem it.

LATE SEATING POLICY

Patrons arriving late to a performance will be seated in a convenient location at a pre-determined/appropriate point in Act I or at intermission. Patrons arriving late to a performance are not guaranteed seating in their reserved seats and will be seated in open/available seats that are easy to access during Act I.  Patrons can then utilize their reserved seats for Act II.  Patrons are encouraged to call the Box Office to notify the Playhouse of their late arrival.

CELL PHONE/DEVICE POLICY

The use of cell phones, tablets, and other wireless devices is distracting to other patrons, hampers audience members’ enjoyment of the production and can be a danger to performers onstage or a hindrance to their execution of a performance. Excepting Medical Professionals that are on-call or Press, Patrons are required to turn off their cell phones, tablets and other wireless devices before the performance begins.  Patrons that do not comply may be requested to leave the performance and shall not receive a refund.

ASSISTED LISTENING DEVICES

The Forestburgh Playhouse is happy to provide assistance and accessibility to patrons who are in need of listening assistance during our productions.

Please speak with the Box Office before the start of any show to receive an Assisted Listening Device (ALD) or request one when making your reservation. Each ALD has one of two types of headsets. The first is a single ear bud that may be worn in either ear. The second is a standard over-the-head headset that covers both ears. Our Box Office Associates sanitize each headset between each use.

You may bring your own headset if you have a preferred pair. ALDs can be held in hand or lap. Please speak with Box Office staff, House Management, or an usher for assistance with your ALD. Please return the ALD and accessories to the box in our lobby by our playbill recycling bin at the end of the performance.
